No to VOTE BUYING and VOTE SELLING


The recently concluded May 13, 2013 elections in Masbate was generally peaceful. This was according to PSSUPT ARNOLD L. ALBIS, Task Group Commander of Regional Special Operations Task Group "Masbate" in his interview with Ms. Jessica Soho, GMA News anchor in HALALAN 2013. PSSUPT ALBIS said that the peaceful elections in Masbate was attributed to the relentless efforts of the joint task force operations of the PNP Bicol under the leadership of PCSUPT (ATTY.) CLARENCE V. GUINTO, Regional Director, PRO5 and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Masbate Advocate for Peace (MAP), COMELEC Officials, PPCRV and the people of Masbate.

PCSUPT CLARENCE V. GUINTO, CEO VI, Regional Director, PRO5 answers questions from media during the Press Conference at PRO5 Officer’s Lounge, Camp General Simeon A. Ola, Legazpi City on May 13, 2013 at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon. PCSUPT GUINTO informed the media regarding the latest development and situational update on the 2013 National and Local Elections in the Bicol Region. Present during the said press conference were ATTY. ROMEO B. FORTES, Regional Election Director COMELEC V, PSSUPT PRIMO B. GOLINGAY, Chief, Operations, DIPO-Southern Luzon and Personnel from Police Regional Office 5.

PNP-Bicol. The PNP Reactionary Standby Support Force composed of PNP-PRO5 personnel performing administrative functions at the Regional Headquarters were dispatched on May 13, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. to perform election duties at some polling precincts in the neighboring cities and municipalities of Albay. The directive was issued by PCSUPT (ATTY.) CLARENCE V. GUINTO, CEO VI, Regional Director, PRO 5 to maximize police presence in all polling precincts and to ensure that no untoward incident will happen.
The PNP PRO5 Reactionary Standby Support Force were dispatched to their respective area of deployment utilizing the Philippine Army trucks.
