PNP BICOL BAGS BGEN RAFAEL T CRAME BALANGAY AWARDS Featured

Two grand winners and three finalists from the Police Provincial Offices of Police Regional Office 5 personally receives the BGEN RAFAEL T CRAME BALANGAY AWARDS during the Flag Raising Ceremony, on February 11, 2019 at PNP NHQ, Camp BGen Crame, Quezon City.

Cam Norte Police Provincial Office headed by PSSUPT GODOFREDO K TUL-O, Provincial Director and PINSP BENJAMIN R REONAL, Chief of Police Viga Municipal Police Station, Catanduanes are among the 10 winners who bagged the grand prize amounting to Php 400,000 from PSSLAI and the BGEN RAFAEL T CRAME BALANGAY Trophy from ACPPI respectively. On the other hand, Sorsogon Police Provincial Office headed by PSSUPT MARLON C TEJADA, Provincial Director, Sorsogon City Police Station under PSUPT JEFFERSON B ARAOJO, Chief of Police and Bulan MPS under the supervision of PCI C Trinane, COP are among the 10 finalists who received a cash amounting to Php 200,000 from PSSLAI and a Certificate of Recognition from ACPPI respectively. Other awardees that were given Php 400,000.00 and trophy are: PPO Level - Bukidnon and Southern Leyte PPO; City Police Stations (CPS) – Cabanatuan, San Fernando, and Tagaytay CPS; Dinalupihan MPS (Bataan), Calasciao MPS (Pangasinan), and Lala MPS (Lanao del Norte). Other finalists given with Php 200,000.00 and trophy: PPO – Olongapo CPO, La Union and Sorsogon PPO; CPS – Dipolog CPS (Zamboanga del Norte); Valencia CPS (Bukidnon); and MPS – Agoo MPS (La Union); Matungao MPS (Lanao del Norte), and San Gabriel MPS (La Union). The recipients of the BGEN RAFAEL T CRAME BALANGAY AWARD are among the 20 finalists from the different Provincial Offices, Municipal Police Stations and City Police Stations nationwide who were accorded with recognition for its support and contribution in the implementation of the PNP Programs and Thrusts, with their influence most palpable at the grassroots, the barangays; for their engrossment in creating a noticeable good image of the PNP in the eyes of the general public and in strengthening a positive public perception in the aim of espousing Pulis na Respetado, Responsable at Disiplinado; their involvement in strengthening the morale of men and women in uniform in the performance of their sworn duties; and in their exceptional commitment in creating harmonious and effective police-community partnership in the maintenance of peace and order and public safety underscoring relevance of Peace and Order Councils, Provincial, City, Municipal and Barangay Anti-Drugs Abuse Council as deemed applicable and a vibrant Recovery and Wellness program. The criteria for the awards includes the Unit Performance Rating; Remarkable improvements in the Index and Non-Index Crimes, Crime Solution Efficiency and Crime Clearance Efficiency; Significant Accomplishments in the execution of the Enhanced Managing Police Operations; Internal Driven Operations, Internal Cleansing and Campaign Against Illegal Drugs; Practice/Adherence to Community Service Oriented Policing; Recovery and Wellness Programs; Sambayan-related activities, Santinig-related activities and Packaging and Documentation of the write-ups. PCSUPT ATTY ARNEL B ESCOBAL, RD, PRO5, commended the awardees for demonstrating their commitment and dedication towards their sworn duties. Thus, he urged the men and women of Kasurog Bikol to continue working with the same zeal towards the attainment of a safer Bikol to live, work and do business.
