One Suspected Drug Trader Neutralized in Buy-bust Operation

Suspected drug trader, Ramon Nebres y Lominario aka "Randy", 49 years old, with live-in partner, and a resident of Brgy. Tinago, Camalig, Albay was killed by police operatives in drug buy-bust operation at Brgy. Taladong, Camalig, Albay at around 3:40 PM, Friday, November 11, 2016

Joint personnel of Camalig MPS and PIB, Albay PPO, in coordination with PDEA ROV conducted anti-Illegal drug buy-bust operation against Ramon Nebres y Lominario aka "Randy", 49 years old, with live-in partner,of Brgy. Tinago, Camalig, Albay that resulted in the neutralization of said suspect and seizure of:

1.) Three (3) pieces small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu,
2.) P500.00 bill as buy-bust money, Php44.00 in cash, one (1) motorized tricycle bearing Plate No. ET 3274,
3.) One (1) "Astra" caliber .38 revolver with serial number 89917 loaded with three (3) live ammunition and
4.) Two (2) fired cartridge cases.

Investigation disclosed that PO3 Ryan Capile who acted as poseur buyer had a transaction with the suspect. After the exchange of items, said policeman gave the pre-arranged signal to other operatives. However, when the suspect noticed that the person he transacted with was a policeman, he immediately pulled a handgun from his waist while sitting on his service tricycle and shot PO3 Capile but was not hit when he run and cover towards the grassy portion of the road prompting the operating team who were strategically positioned at said place to shoot the suspect and the latter also fired another shot towards them.

As a result, the suspect sustained gunshot wound on his body and was immediately brought to BRTTH, Legazpi City for medical treatment but was pronounced DOA by attending physician Dr. Marissa Reyes Dela Cerna. Personnel from RCLO5 conducted SOCO at the scene.

The inventory and markings of seized pieces of evidence were made in the presence of Brgy. Chairman Salvador Nuarin, Brgy. Councilor Chan Nepomoceno; both of Brgy Taladong, Camalig Albay and Media representative Wilber Bernales of Idol FM.

Recovered pieces of evidence were placed under the custody of RCLO5 for laboratory examination and ballistics, respectively. Cadaver of the suspect was brought to Nuestra Señora de Salvacion Funeral, Bonot, Legazpi City for autopsy.
