Ms. Amber A Mirandilla, OIC, Regional Head, Presidential Management Staff, Regional Field Unit 5 graced as the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony of Police Regional Office last October 1, 2018. Ms Mirandilla was assisted by PCSUPT LITO B PITALLANO, Deputy Regional Director for Administration in awarding the Medalya ng Kagalingan to PCINSP ALDIN E ORQUITA; SPO3 Hugo A Regidor; SPO1 Nestor D Callos Jr; PO3 Dennis A Altez; and PO1 Mariano N Miraña.

In her message, Ms Mirandilla shared what their office, the Presidential Management Staff do. She said that the Presidential Management Staff was established some 48 years ago (opened up its regional presence in Bicol for 31 years). The office is tasked to be the primary office under the Office of the President (OP) that provides technical staff support to the President and the Cabinet, she added. She also said that the PMS is in-charge of the following: 1. Manage In-Palace and Out-of-Palace Presidential Events local and assists out of the country travels of the President; 2. Provide inputs to the Presidents in terms of the following: 2x/daily Presidential Daily Briefers, regional monitoring reports, highlights of Inter-agency Meetings, urgent alerts, and monitoring of other local and national issues; and 3. Monitor and facilitate the President's Priorities such as CSBP AFP KIA/WIA or PNP KIPO/WIPO, Public Requests, President's Instruction, BJMP Help desks, and OFW Assistance. PMS is also tasked to be the Team Leader for the Office of the President-Events Management Cluster of which the PNP and the AFP is the counterpart in the provinces of the PSG, she added.
