Police Regional Office 5 headed by PBGEN BART R BUSTAMANTE, Regional Director conducted a 2-Day Training on Coronavirus Awareness Response and Empowerment (C.A.R.E) Infodemic Drive on December 28 and 29, 2020 held at Legazpi City Convention Center, Legazpi City.
C.A.R.E infodemic drive aims to curb and mitigate the spread of COVID-19, promote health precautionary measures, maximize information dissemination to ensure that the community gets the most reliable, timely and accurate information they need to face the current global health crisis.
Further, the training aims to maximize and utilize the PNP strength to raise awareness on COVID-19 pandemic; to enhance the personnel’s skills in public speaking; and to instil the DOH protocols and other necessary information about COVID-19.
Highlight of the activity is the actual performance of the participants delivering their lecture-demo which were adjudged by PBGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA, Acting Director of Directorate for Police Community Relations and PCADG Speakers Bureau.
The training was participated by six (6) personnel from all PPOs/CPO, RMFB 5 and RCADD who are teachers, nurses and holders of related professional degree and have credible background or exposure in conducting lectures and related works.
