This collaborative efforts paved the way to transform the former “dampa” house of Maria into a decent and safe place to dwell. The construction of the house has been completed and was formally turned over to the family on March 24, 2021 at Del Rosario, Pili, Camarines Sur.
Prior to the turn-over, Maria and her children were also baptized at Our Lady of Remedies Parish Curry, Pili, Camarines Sur.
Present during the activity was Ms. Marygizellle Mesa, PIO, DSWD Field Office V provided cash assistance, relief goods and hygiene kit to the family.
It was Camarines Sur 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company which was the first to know about the situation of Maria and her family during its activity under the “Kapwa ko, Sagot ko”, an advocacy program of PRO5 to assist and provide help to those families whose life have been greatly affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A concerned citizen from Del Rosario, Pili Camarines Sur approached the team and relayed the situation of Maria. In response, the Community Action Team (ComAct) of Camarines Sur 1st PMFC conducted barangay visitation and witnessed the sorrowful and destitute condition of the whole family.
This project is only one of the apostolic initiatives of the PNP in the region and it shall continue to do its fair share to assist the Bicolanos as we move forward towards peace and progress.

Quilloy Construction Company and CS1st PMFC Advisory Council sponsored a project dubbed as “Proyekto Tabang asin Sirungan kay Maria”.
