MASS SURRENDER OF THE MEMBERS OF THE CTGs
PGEN DEBOLD MENORIAS SINAS attended the presentation of the 47 former rebels that returned to the fold of the law as well as the assorted firearms recovered from the anti-insurgency operations conducted by this unit as part of the activities during his command visit in PRO5 on November 26, 2020.
One of the former rebels also gave testimonies outlining the sufferings and cruelty they experienced in the hands to the CPP-NPA. On the same event, they also signed the manifesto and burned the effigy which proves their genuine act to embrace the government’s plans and programs.
PGEN SINAS assisted by PBGEN BUSTAMANTE also gave cash assistance amounting to Php 10,000.00 to the former rebels to help them as the start a new chapter of their lives away from fear and inhumanity.
GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY
PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, CPNP together with PBGEN BARTOLOME R BUSTAMANTE, RD, PRO5 and the Command Group graced the ground-breaking ceremony of the several facilities intended to bolster the administrative and operational functions of PRO5 during his command visit on November 26, 2020.
The facility includes the PRO5 Multi-Purpose Command Court; Regional Crime Laboratory Office; LAKAN-Multi-Purpose Hall; Kasurog Motorpool; and the Regional Health Services 5 Building.
COMMAND CONFERENCE WITH PGEN SINAS, CPNP
PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, CPNP presided over a command conference attended by RD PRO5, the command group and other staff that paved the way to showcase the PRO's accomplishments on November 26, 2020 at the PRO5 Conference Room Camp BGen, Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City.
BLESSING AND TURN-OVER OF 5 UNITS OF PATROL JEEP
PGEN DEBOLD MENORIAS SINAS , C,PNP assisted by PBGEN BART R BUSTAMANTE, RD PRO5 and the Command Group, led the blessing and turn-over of the 5 units PNP Patrol Jeep which was duly received by the Chiefs of Police of Basud MPS and Vinzons MPS both in Camarines Norte PPO; Aroroy MPS in Masbate PPO; and Barcelona MPS and Sta. Magdalena MPS of Sorsogon PPO on November 26, 2020.
Present during the event are the Mayors of the respective municipalities. The said vehicles shall boost the move capabilities of the aforementioned stations thus enabling them to perform their duties more effectively and efficiently.
COMMAND VISIT OF THE CPNP AT PRO5
The CPNP spearheaded various activities in his command visit at PRO5 which includes the awarding of deserving PNP personnel in recognition for their valuable contributions making this unit one of the top performing PRO in the country on November 26, 2020.

Monday Flag Raising Ceremony (November 23, 2020)
PBGEN BART R BUSTAMANTE, RD, PRO5 graced the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony today, November 23, 2020 in front of the PRO5 Grandstand, Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City.
A highlight of the activity is the awarding of deserving personnel in recognition of their sterling efforts and contributions on the PNP’s campaign against various forms of criminalities towards the attainment of a safer Bicol to live, work and do business.
Relief Operation-Brgy Igbak, Buhi, Camarines Sur
Police Regional Office 5 under the leadership of PBGEN BART R BUSTAMANTE, RD, together with the LAKAN, Bicol Chapter spearheaded a relief operation to the 600 families who were severely devastated by the aftermath of the recent typhoons at Brgy Igbak, Buhi, Camarines Sur on November 21, 2020.

The spirit of bayanihan and volunteerism still prevails as Police Regional Office 5 continue to receive donations from various government and non-government agencies as well as from private individuals for the benefit of the people affected by the calamities in the region.

Relief Operations at BUCSSP
In the aim to continuously assist our fellow Bicolanos highly distressed by the repercussions of the heavy rains, strong winds and floods caused by the recent typhoons in the region, Police Regional Office 5, headed by PBGEN BARTOLOME R BUSTAMANTE, RD, once again initiated a relief operation benefiting 170 job order personnel of Bicol University on November 18, 2020 held at BUCSSP Arcilla Hall, Daraga Albay.
Relief Distributions at Brgy Cararayan and Brgy Calauag Naga City
PBGEN BART R BUSTAMANTE, RD, PRO5 spearheaded the distribution of relief items at Naga City particularly the residents of Brgy. Cararayan and Brgy Calauag on November 15, 2020.
The said areas were one of the flooded barangays in the aforementioned province due to the heavy-rains brought by the recent calamities. Present also during the activity is Hon. Nelson S. Legacion, Mayor of Naga City.
Monday Flag Raising Ceremony
Police Regional Office 5 under the astute leadership of PBGEN BART R BUSTAMANTE, RD, together with the Command Group, Directorial Staff and other personnel joined the virtual Flag Raising Ceremony at the National Headquarters with the newly installed PNP Chief, PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS via zoom application on November 16, 2020.
Relief Operations-Tabaco City
Police Regional Office 5 in collaboration with Police Regional Office 8 was able to reach out to 500 families in Tabaco City by giving away assorted relief items on November 14, 2020.
The said activity aims to provide assistance to the communities who were severely affected by the recent typhoons in the region.
