Six Police Commissioned Officers were promoted to Police Lieutenant Colonel during the Oath-Taking and Donning of Ranks with PBGEN BARTOLOME R BUSTAMANTE, Regional Director, as the administering officer. The said activity was conducted on September 7, 2020 in front of the PRO5 Grandstand Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City which coincides the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony.

Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City--- PBGEN BARTOLOME RAGUDOS BUSTAMANTE takes the helm as the new Regional Director of PNP Bicol effective September 3, 2020.
A native of Pangasinan, PBGEN BUSTAMANTE is a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy “Makatao” Class of 1989. He is a true blooded police community relations officer. He is a PCR leader who rose through the ranks and works by example with an unblemished record for excellence. Prior his designation as the Regional Director of Police Regional Office 5 he was the Deputy Director for Police Community Relations.
