In light of the recent launch of Pokémon GO game in the Philippines, the PNP through ITMS and PRO5 advice the public to always place their personal safety first above “catch them all”.

The Pokémon GO craze has seen reports of accidents, injuries and even crimes in other countries where it has already been played.

The PNP-ITMS and PRO5 would like to advise Pokémon GO players to enjoy the game safely and take note of the following:

September is National Cyber Security Awareness Month ( Proclamation Order No. 2054, s. 2010 ) which is an annual campaign to raise awareness about cybersecurity. As the country continuously moves forward into a world that is more connected than ever before. The computer, smartphone, Internet and other enabled device has become a part of daily life. National Cyber Security Awareness Month is designed to engage and educate government and private sector partners through events and initiatives with the objective of raising the level of awareness about cybersecurity and the importance of resiliency of the country in the event of a cyber attack.

Concrete Entrance of PRO5 Parade Ground

On June 6-7, 2015, Acting Group Director initiated the concreting of approach/entrance of the PRO5 parade ground.

The Closing Ceremony of CIC Cl 349-15 (21-2015 R5) last August 3, 2015 participated in by 53 PNCOs from 6 PPOs and NCPO with former City Mayor of Iriga City Madelaine Alfelor-Gazmen as the guest of Honor and Speaker.

Opening of Bids for the construction of Bulusan Municipal Police Station Building, Sorsogon Police Provincial Office was conducted at PRO5 Conference Room, Camp Gen. Simeon A. Ola, Legazpi City on August 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM.

Requirements for DECAL/PASSCARD Application

1.Filled-out Application Form from the RID, PRO5.

2.Latest Registration of vehicle, (if not the owner, a certification from the owner must be attached).

Camp General Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City- A total of 910 police officers had taken their oath simultaneously on December 15, 2014 which coincided with the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the PRO5 Grandstand Camp General Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City.

On July 24, 2015 at 9:00,in line with the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 and Beyond, the Police Regional Office 5 through the Regional Police Community Relations Division conducted the closing ceremony of the Police Community Affairs and Development Course Class 02-2015 R5 held at Regional Training Center 5 (RTC5), Camp General Simeon A. Ola, Legazpi City with PDIR WILFREDO D FRANCO, Director, DPCR as Guest of Honor and Speaker.

PRO5 Celebrates 21st Ethics Day

Camp General A Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City – The Police Regional Office 5 headed by PCSUPT VICTOR PELOTA DEONA, Regional Director spearheaded the Distinguished Visitor’s Program coinciding with the 21st PNP Ethics Day with the theme “PNP, Leading the Right Path Towards Credible and Noble Service” and the first Monday Flag Raising Ceremony of calendar year 2015 with Most Rev. Bishop JOEL BAYLON, D.D, Bishop Diocese of Legazpi City as the Guest of Honor and Speaker held at the PRO5 Multi –Purpose Building, Camp General Simeon A. Ola, Legazpi City on January 5, 2015.

On August 2-6, 2015, RPCRD sent PRO5 personnel led by PSINSP MARIA LUISA C CALUBAQUIB for the Regional Product Exhibit and Display of Tourist Destinations actions photo at NHQ Heritage Park in connection with the Celebration of 114th Police Service Anniversary.
