Garrie Llena y Madrido, 39 y/o, Real Estate Agent, single, and a resident of F.O. Balce St., Brgy. Poblacion 2, Vinzon, Camarines Norte submitted himself on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at about 12:20 AM at Basud MPS, Basud, Camarines Norte.
The accused voluntarily surrendered to Basud MPS by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Homicide, issued by Hon. Judge Victoria C. Dino-Reyes, MTC of Basud, Camarines Norte, dated December 1, 2016, docketed under CC# 3199 with bail recommended of Ph30,000.00.
The subject person is now under the custody of said MPS for proper disposition.
A newly identified drug personality was arrestd in buy-bust operation conducted by elements of Irosin MPS in coordination with PDEA on December 19,2016 around 2:15 PM at Brgy. Salvacion,Irosin Sorsogon was arrested after selling/deliver and handed over to Police poseur buyer.
According to PCINSP EDWIN CORONA ADORA, COP Irosin MPS said the suspect Airiz Magpayo Bermas, 22 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Brgy. San Isidro, Irosin, Sorsogon was arrested after selling to a police poseur buyer one (1) heat sealed of transparent plastic sachet containing of white crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine hydrochloride commonly known as shabu in exchange of a five hundred (Php500) peso bill.
He further says that Ensuing lawful search conducted to the suspect in the presence required witnesses such as Brgy. Kagawad Carlos B Orbina of Brgy Salvacion, Irosin, Sorsogon, Rolando E Narvadez of Radio Natin FM that resulted in the recovery of the evidence And it was duly informed of her constitutional rights under Miranda doctrine and same was brought to Irosin MPS for booking, documentation and proper disposition.
The recovered drugs evidence will be submitted to Crime Laboratory Office for examination. A case for Violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for filing in court.
Jeboy Nicolas y Glee, 27 years old, single, fish vendor, and a resident of Brgy. Obrero, Bulan, Sorsogon was apprehended for possession of prohibited drug by the police operatives.
The joint elements of Bulan Municipal Police Station led by PINSP FERNANDO G MANAYOD, CIDT Sorsogon led by SPO1 Santos Jose Mora, PIB-PAID Sorsogon PPO led by PO3 Jose B Caspe, Regional Public Safety Battalion (5RPSB) led by PO2 Lito A. Panis Jr; SPPSC 2nd Maneuver Platoon, Matnog MPS, Sorsogon PPO led by PO3 Leo Betavara and Regional Maritime Unit 5(RMU5) led by SPO1 Ruel C Renolayan in coordination with the PDEA5 conducted search at the residence/premises of the suspect who was ranked No.4 in Drug Watchlist personality of Bulan MPS by virtue of Search Warrant No. 2016-12-03 for Violation of Section 11, Article II of RA 9165, issued and signed by Hon. Bernardo R. Jimenez, Jr., Executive Judge of RTC Branch 54, Gubat, Sorsogon, which resulted in the recovery and confiscation of one (1) big transparent plastic sachet placed on the carton box containing twelve (12) pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Methamphetamine Hydrochloride commonly known as “SHABU”.
The search was conducted in the presence of the suspect and required witnesses namely Maricel M. Jercey and Herculano Teope Tabuso, Media Representatives; Brgy. Chairman Celso G. Morata, and Councilor Sherley G. Miranda.
ACTION TAKEN: Seized/confiscated pieces of evidence were properly marked in the presence of above-mentioned witnesses.
The suspect was brought to Bulan MPS for documentation together with the recovered pieces of evidence, and subsequently turned-over to the custody of CIDG Sorsogon for the return of Search Warrant in the court of origin. The pieces of evidence were brought to the Provincial Crime.
Camp Gen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City. With the relentless efforts of Police Regional Office 5 on Project Double Barrel Alpha to fully eradicate the proliferation of the illegal drugs in the region with the active partnership and support with its stakeholders, Punong Barangay of Sugod, Tiwi, Albay turned-over MOL 18 bricks of suspected cocaine to Bicol PNP.
Investigation disclosed that on December 18, 2016 (Sunday), 10:30 A.M. two (2) fishermen while on board a motorized banca found floating offshore a netfull of brick like items wrapped with brown packaging tape. Thereafter, the fishermen namely Manuel Comota and Razel Bragais, informed PB Teresita Cericos on their recovered items.
The personnel of Tiwi MPS led by PSINSP JAN KING S CALIPAY after verification of said report, immediately responded and proceeded to the said barangay. Then and there PB Cericos properly turned-over the recovered illegal drugs. Afterwhich, PSINSP CALIPAY accompanied PB Cericos and the fishermen to PSSUPT ANTONINO CIRUJALES, PD APPO, for subsequent turn-over of the recovered items to PCSUPT MELVIN RAMON G BUENAFE, RD, PRO5.
A press conference with the local media was immediately called upon by the Bicol PNP. The said items is now in the custody of the Regional Crime Laboratory Office 5 for laboratory examination.
PCSUPT BUENAFE,expresses its gratefulness to the fishermen and PB Cericos on their courageous actions in response to the PNP's campaign against illegal drugs. He further encourages everyone to continuously support their local policemen. ###
Bicol Region Against Drugs (BRAD)
On Tuesday, December 13, 2016, 12:30 AM at the seawaters of Brgy. Guincaiptan, Mandaon, Masbate,with the distance of more or less 13.86 kilometers from the shoreline of the said place, a concerned citizen reported to Mandaon MPS that there was a fishing vessel anchored at the aforesaid place believed to be engaged in illegal fishing activity.
PNP personnel of Mandaon MPS led by PO3 Angelico B Andazo proceeded at the reported place that resulted in the interception of one (1) fishing vessel and the apprehension of its crews namely:
a. Salvador Obiodos, 45, married, boat owner and a resident of Balud, Masbate;
b. Edwin Julia y Desales, 43, married, boat captain, resident of Estancia, Ilo-ilo;
c. Rico Bangis y Militar, 43, married, fisherman, of Estancia, Ilo-ilo;
d. Ryan Buayan y Agdon, 28, married, fisherman, resident of Carles, Ilo-ilo;
e. Ricky Beliones y Aretanio, 43, single, fisherman, of Carles, Ilo-ilo;
f. Rizal Dela Cruz y Atate, 45, married, resident of Calumpang Balud, Masbate;
g. Jenny Apwis y Sangutan, 36, married, fisherman, resident of Estancia, Ilo-ilo;
h. Regie Gabrino, 30, single, fisherman, resident of Estancia Ilo-ilo;
i. Ernesto Tidoso y Jeltendes, 46, married, resident of Estancia Ilo-ilo;
j. Reby Vebanges y Bunog, 22, married, a resident of Carles Ilo-ilo; and
k. Raul Buhayan y Daes, 41 years old, married and a resident of Carles, Ilo-ilo
for the Violation of RA 8550
Likewise the operatives were able to intercepts and confiscated the following items:
1.) One (1) unit of Fishing vessel (F/B KIM) with active gear;
2.) Fine mesh net;
3.) Tom weight with tubs of catch fishes locally known as Lagaw, Matambaka, Buraw, Salmunete and Bilongbilong placed inside the storage room; and other fishing paraphernalia.
Suspects were detained at the Custodial Facility of Mandaon MPS and the recovered pieces of evidences were also brought at Mandaon MPS for proper disposition. An appropriate case is now being prepared by Mandaon MPS for filing before the Masbate City Prosecutor’s Office in due time.
On December 12,2016 at 9:00am, Generoso Jesoro De Jesus, 47 years old, married, resident of Brgy.Piot,Sorsogon City was arrested.
Joint Personnel of CIDT-Sorsogon and Sorsogon CPS, arrested the accused by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Michael A Balmaceda, Presiding Judge of MTCC, Branch 1, Sorsogon City, for Threat under Criminal Case No.16-1292 and Other Light Threats with Criminal Case No.16-1291, both dated June 13,2016 with bail recommended Php2,000.00 each.
The subject person is presently under the custody of said MPS for proper disposition.
On December 12,2016 at 1:00pm, Bernabe Gigante y Barro,57 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Sitio Catindoy, Brgy. Iniwanran, San Pascual, Masbate was arrested for Violation of PD 705 known as the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines.
Personnel of San Pascual MPS arrested the accused by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Maximino R Ables, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 47, Masbate City under Criminal Case No.18110 with bail recommended Php 40,000.00.
The subject person is presently under the custody of said MPS for proper disposition.
Jessie Bosangit y Mandigma, of legal age, married, and a resident of Brgy. Sta. Cruz Poblacion, Calabanga, Camarines Sur was arrested by the personnel of Calabanga MPS at Brgy. San Antonio, Poblacion, Calabanga, Camarines Sur On Monday, December 12, 2016 at 6:20 PM.
The accused was arrested by the virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Frank E. Lobrigo, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 3, Legazpi City for Violation of RA 6539 shall be known and may be cited as the "Anti-Carnapping Act of 1972 , docketed under CC# 13931 with bail recommended of Php180,000.00.
The arrested accused is now presently under the custody of said MPS for proper disposition.
Juliano San Jose y Ramirez, 37, married, farmer and a resident of Zone 1, Brgy. Namuat, Gainza, Camarines Sur was arrested by the personnel of Gainza MPS on Monday, December 12, 2016 at about 9:00 AM.
The above-named accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Rosita L. Lalwani, Presiding Judge of RTC, 5th Judicial Region, Branch 28, Naga City for Violation of RA 9262, docketed under CC# 2016-0891 with bail recommended amounting to Php20,000.00.
The arrested accused is now under the custody of said MPS for proper disposition.
On Monday, December 12, 2016, 12:30 PM- Reynaldo Señido y Troyo, 44 years old, married, and a resident of Barangay Curry, Pili, Camarines Sur was arrested for the possession of prohibited drug.
The elements of Anti-illegal Drugs Task Group of Pili MPS led by SPO1 Arlene B Mojica, conducted anti illegal drug buy-bust operation which resulted in the arrest of the above-named drug trader.
The team was able to purchased one small size heat sealed containing suspected amphetamine hydrochloride known as “shabu”. The inventory and likewise bodily search was conducted in the presence of the mandatory witnesses.
Arrested suspect and confiscated pieces of evidence were placed under the custody of Pili MPS for proper disposition.
PSI RONY D ELPOS, ACOP, said that on December 13, 2016 at around 10:30 A.M at Brgy San Fernando, Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon, elements of Prieto Diaz MPS arrested Ricardo GABITAN y Solis, 61 years old and a resident of Brgy San Fernando, Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon by virtue of Warrant of Arrest duly issued by Hon. Judge Tito D. Diaz of MCTC Branch 54-Gubat, Sorsogon dated December 14, 2015 for Violation of Sec. 2, (a) PD 1865 docketed under Criminal Case No. 4038 with bail recommended fixed at ten thousand (Php10,000.00) pesos.
PSI ELPOS, also added that arrested person was apprised of his constitutional rights in a dialect known and understood by him and was brought to Prieto Daz for booking, documentation and proper disposition.
On December 12, 2016, Monday at 10:00 AM – Jesus Barbolino y Rama, 38 y/o, married, fisherman; Michael Dillera y Fuentes, 29 y/o, married; fisherman and Salito Oliva y Barbolino, 29 y/o, married, fisherman, all residents of Brgy. Poblacion, Mandaon, Masbate were arrested.
The above-named accused were arrested by the personnel of Mandaon MPS led by PO2 Dave O. Ruga with the virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Maximo R. Ables, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 47, Masbate City, for Violation of Sec. 92 of R.A 8550 as amended by 10654, under CC# 10855, with bail recommended of Php20,000.00.
The accused were released from custody of Mandaon MPS after presenting an Order of Release signed and issued by Hon. Judge Teofilo B. Tambago, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 46, Masbate City.
Albay PPO on Anti-Illegal Drug Campaign “Double Barrel Alpha” nabbed one person at about 11:10 PM of December 7, 2016 (Wednesday), at P-5, Brgy. Estancia, Malinao, Albay.
In a report submitted to PSSUPT ANTONINO R CIRUJALES, Provincial Director, the operation was conducted by joint personnel of Malinao MPS led by PCI VIRGIL B BIBAT, OIC; and PIB, Albay PPO led by PCI DENNIS B BALLA implemented Search Warrant No. T 2016-205 dated December 7, 2016 issued by Hon. Alben C. Rabe, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 15, Tabaco City for Violation of RA 9165 at the residence of Medel Peña y Alcantara @ “Pongkoy”, 29 years old, married, and a resident of aforesaid place which resulted in his arrest and seizure of the following items:
1.) Twenty-three (23) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be "shabu";
2.) One (1) pack of Marlboro cigarette;
3.) One (1) Commando match box;
4.) One (1) cigarette foil;
5.) One (1) brown paper;
6.) One (1) rolled small aluminum foil;
7.) One (1) folded aluminum foil;
8.) One (1) pair of surgical stainless scissors;
9.) One (1) disposable lighter;
10 Thirteen (13) pieces unused empty small transparent plastic sachet.
Search, inventory and markings of seized pieces of evidence were made at the place of incident and in the presence of the suspect, Brgy. Councilors Virginia Brimuela and Teresita Borlagdan both of aforesaid place, and Media representative Richard Almonte of One Radio, Tabaco City. Suspect and seized drug items will be brought to RCLO5 for drug test and laboratory examination, respectively while appropriate case is now being prepared for filing in court.
Three suspected drug peddler were arrested by the police operatives in its campaign against the proliferation of illegal drug through drug buy-bust and were identified by as:
1.) Gracia Openiano y Ibanez, aka “Ate”,former OFW of P-1, Brgy. Rizal, Jovellar Albay;
2.) Joane Baradia y Fabricante, 33 years old, single, resident of Lot. 19, block 162, Magnolia St., Makati City; and
3.) Martin Tinker y Phelps, 70 years old, American Citizen, retired Marine Merchant (Seaman), a native of Massachussets, USA and temporary residing at aforesaid place.
The Joint elements of Guinobatan MPS and PDEA ROV conducted buy-bust operation at P-3, Brgy. San Rafael, Guinobatan, Albay against the suspects that resulted in their arrest and recovery of the following items:
1.) Five (5) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu;
2.) One (1) gold Samsung J1 cellular phone;
3.) One (1) brownlady bag with marked Secosana containing two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu;
4.) One (1) piece one thousand peso bill with serial No. EL882431 used as drug buy-bust money, with bundled of cut papers wrap in LBC plastic pouch used as boodle money;
5.) One piece weighing scale;
6.) One piece water pipe,;and
7. Assorted drug paraphernalias.
Inventory and markings of recovered pieces of evidence was made in the presence of Luis P. Nosares and Jovi C. Ortile both elected Brgy. Kagawad of said place and Media Representative Wilburn O. Bernales. Recovered pieces of evidence and arrested suspects were brought to PDEA ROV, Camp Gen. Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City for proper disposition.
