Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City - Police Regional Office 5 welcomes the 615 police recruits coming from the six provinces of the Bicol Region who have taken their oaths as the start of their journey as new members of the countries police force today, November 28, 2018 at the PRO5 Grandstand, Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City.

PCSUPT ATTY ARNEL B ESCOBAL, Regional Director administered the oath-taking of 615 police recruits composed of 484 males and 131 females who passed the rigorous months of stringent and challenging selection process of the 1st Cycle of Calendar Year 2018 PO1 Regular and Attrition Recruitment Program. The police recruits will undergo one (1) year training that will aid them in performing their duties as law enforcers; part of the training is the 6 months SAF like training to be undertaken by the Regional Training Center 5.

In a message given by PCSUPT ARNEL B ESCOBAL, he encouraged and reminded the new members of the organization quoting, “Your desires now will not be your own; your aspirations will now be the aspirations of the people; and your happiness will now be the happiness of the public you serve. It is demanded from you, with humility and alertness, with ingenuity and compassion, with loyalty and integrity, to consistently practice the PNP core values of service, honor and justice. You are here to serve and not to be served,” he said.
