Culminating Activity-Women's Month Celebration 2021 Featured

Dr. Cynthia R Bustamante, graced the culminating ceremony of the month-long celebration of Women’s month as the Guest of Honor and Speaker on March 26, 2021 held at the PRO5 Grandstand Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City.


This annual observance is a tribute, a platform and a call to action that highlights the extraordinary roles of “Juanas” in the society as trailblazers and harbingers of change. It also paves the way to discuss and address various issues and concerns that women continue to face towards attaining gender equality and empowerment especially in this time of pandemic.

Highlight of the activity was the awarding of winners during the 1st Juana Fun-Shoot:

During the month-long festivity, series of activities were conducted to include Online Forum dubbed as Kapehan sa Kampo; “Usapang Pangkababaihan; Bazaar ng Kababaihan; Adopt a Juana Project; self-defense trainings; seminars outreach programs and tree planting which endeavors to bring together female PNP personnel in realizing their imperative roles as agents of peace and change.

“The challenge now is not in seeking equal opportunities anymore but rather on how we can stay relevant and find our place in nation building or just simply in the making of a better society. It is thus my hope that all of us can continue to do something worthwhile no matter how small each and every day in order to bring us towards this direction.” Dr. Bustamante, said in her message.
