Three suspected drug peddler were arrested by the police operatives in its campaign against the proliferation of illegal drug through drug buy-bust and were identified by as:
1.) Gracia Openiano y Ibanez, aka “Ate”,former OFW of P-1, Brgy. Rizal, Jovellar Albay;
2.) Joane Baradia y Fabricante, 33 years old, single, resident of Lot. 19, block 162, Magnolia St., Makati City; and
3.) Martin Tinker y Phelps, 70 years old, American Citizen, retired Marine Merchant (Seaman), a native of Massachussets, USA and temporary residing at aforesaid place.

The Joint elements of Guinobatan MPS and PDEA ROV conducted buy-bust operation at P-3, Brgy. San Rafael, Guinobatan, Albay against the suspects that resulted in their arrest and recovery of the following items:
1.) Five (5) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu;
2.) One (1) gold Samsung J1 cellular phone;
3.) One (1) brownlady bag with marked Secosana containing two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu;
4.) One (1) piece one thousand peso bill with serial No. EL882431 used as drug buy-bust money, with bundled of cut papers wrap in LBC plastic pouch used as boodle money;
5.) One piece weighing scale;
6.) One piece water pipe,;and
7. Assorted drug paraphernalias.

Inventory and markings of recovered pieces of evidence was made in the presence of Luis P. Nosares and Jovi C. Ortile both elected Brgy. Kagawad of said place and Media Representative Wilburn O. Bernales. Recovered pieces of evidence and arrested suspects were brought to PDEA ROV, Camp Gen. Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City for proper disposition.

No.9 Municipal Most Wanted Person Collared

Accused, Jeffrey Marpuri y Alba, 29 years old, single, resident of Z-2, Brgy Causip, Bula, Camarines Sur, was arrested by Elements of Bula MPS at around 3:30 PM, Saturday, December 10, 2016 , by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Judge Erwin P. Ferrer, Acting Presiding Judge, RTC Br. 33, Pili, Camarines Sur on May 26, 2016 under Criminal Case Nr. P-5210 for the Violation of Sec. 5 (b) of RA 7610 with bail recommended of P180, 000.00.

Subject person is rank No. 9 Most Wanted Person of Bula and now under the custody of Bula MPS for booking and proper disposition.

PSSUPT ANTONINO R CIRUJALES, Provincial Director disclosed that at about 2:51 PM of December 7, 2016 (Wednesday), at P-1, Brgy. Iraya Norte, Oas, Albay, joint personnel of CIDG-Albay; Oas MPS; RPSB5; Albay PPSC; and RID5 conducted anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation against Henry Belgar y Cortez aka "Putol", married, 41 years old, No. 3 Priority Target Drug Personality in Albay Province and No. 4 in the Municipality of Oas, Albay, and a resident of aforesaid place which resulted in the neutralization of said suspect and seizure of one (1) piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be "shabu" which was obtained by the poseur buyer.

Investigation disclosed that the suspect had a transaction with the poseur buyer and after the exchange of items, the suspect noticed that the person he transacted with is a law enforcer. Thereupon, he immediately pulled a gun from his waist and shot the police officer but missed prompting the operating team/arresting officer who strategically positioned themselves outside the house of the suspect to retaliate and shot the suspect hitting his body and head.

The operating team opted not to move the body of the suspect believing that the latter was also armed with a hand grenade. Personnel from EOD5 composed of SPO4 Ramon M Frades and PO3 Ronald Imperial immediately responded but no hand grenade was found. Likewise, SOCO was conducted by personnel of RCLO5 led by PCINSP NOBLEZA and recovered from the suspect were Php500.00 bill as buy-bust money, one (1) caliber .38 revolver with TM Smith and Wesson without serial number loaded with one (1) fired cartridge case, one (1) misfired cartridge, four (4) live ammunition, one (1) camouflage holster, and three (3) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be "shabu"; one (1) caliber .38 revolver with TM Smith and Wesson recovered on the bed of the suspect, loaded with five (5) live ammunition; and two (2) fired cartridges of unknown caliber found at the crime scene. Inventory and markings of seized drug and non-drug items were made at the place of incident and in the presence of media representative Nery Andre Maraño of 89.1 Idol FM; and Brgy. Councilors Mark Pesino and Jason Robas; both of aforesaid place. Recovered drug items from the cadaver of the suspect was brought to RCLO5 for laboratory examination while the cadaver was brought to Roa Funeral Parlor, Oas, Albay. However, his immediate family signed a waiver stating therein that they are no longer interested in submitting the latter for autopsy.

Teacher Suspect for Rape Nabbed

A teacher of profession was nabbed by the personnel of Manito Municipal Police Station after intensified operation against wanted person at about 12:10 PM of December 8, 2016 (Thursday), at Manito National High School, P-7, Sitio Balading, Brgy. Itba, Manito, Albay.

In a report given to PSSUPT ANTONINO R CIRUJALES, Provincial Director, the person was identified as Jerick Zamudio y Mol, 32 years old, single, teacher of said school, a resident of P-7, Sitio Balading, Brgy. Itba, Manito, Albay by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Maria Theresa G San Juan-Loquillano, Presiding Judge of RTC, Branch 9, Legazpi City for Rape in Relation to RA 7610 docketed under Criminal Case No. FC-16-2140 with no bail recommended.

Subject accused was placed under the custody of aforesaid police station for proper disposition.

Suspect for Attempted Homicide Captured

Fredie Abejero Y Certeza, 35, of Barangay Bantayan, Pilar, Sorsogon was arrested for the crime attempted homicide, Thursday morning of December 8, 2016.

Elements of Pilar MPS led by PO3 Domingo Ballerda Jr., Court Process Officer, arrested the aforementioned accused by virtue of Warrant of Arrest duly issued by Hon. Judge Arnel P. Cezar of Pilar MTTC dated November 18, 2016. Abejoro was apprised of his constitutional rights in a dialect known and understood by him and was brought to Pilar MPS for booking, documentation and proper disposition.

The accused was then released from custody after posting the bail of Php 12 000.00 under OR No. 822903 duly issued by Hon. Judge Rafael H. Zubito Jr. of Pilar MTTC, dated December 8, 2016.

Professor Accused For Rape Arrested

A professor from Manito National High School who identified as Mr. Jerick Zamudio y Mol, 32, was arrested by Manito MPS led by PSINSP ABRAHAM A. BUENDIA, OIC, Thursday, December 8, 2016, 12:10 PM.

The Personnel of Manito MPS arrested the accused by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Maria Theresa G. San Juan Loquillano, Presiding Judge of RTC, Branch 9, Legazpi City for the crime of Rape in Relation to RA 7610 docketed under CC No. FC-16-2146 with no bail recommended.

Subject person was placed under the custody of Manito Municipal Police Station where his fingerprints and mug shots were taken while pending issuance of commitment order.

Elements of Sorsogon CPS arrested Darwin Domiquil Destura, 39 years old, with live-in partner, jobless and a resident 11th St. OLV, Pangpang, Sorsogon City by virtue of Warrant of Arrest duly issued by Hon. Judge Maximo R Ables of RTC Br. 52, Sorsogon City dated December 14, 2015 for Violation of Sec. 5, Art. II, RA 9165 docketed under Criminal Case No. 15-9286 with no bail recommendedon December 8, 2016 around 11:30 AM at 11th St. OLV, Pangpang, Sorsogon City.

Arrested person was apprised of his constitutional rights in a dialect known and understood by him and was brought to Sorsogon CPS for booking, documentation and proper disposition.

Personnel of Daet Municipal Police Station (MPS) served the warrant of arrest to Allan Eboña y Carrascal, 30, married, tricycle driver and resident of Purok 2, Barangay Camambugan, Daet, Camarines Norte on December 8, 2016 at about 10:00 AM at Camarines Norte Provincial Jail, Barangay III, Daet, Camarines Norte.

Eboña has a standing warrant of arrest issued on November 29, 2016 by Judge Roberto A Escaro of Regional Trial Court Branch 38 of Daet, Camarines Norte for violation of Section 11 and 12 Article II of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002), docketed under criminal case No. 17764 and 17765 with recommended bail bond amounting to Php 200,000.00 and Php 80,000.00 respectively.

Subject person is now under the custody of Camarines Norte Provincial Jail Jail due to his other case pending before Regional Trial Court Branch 38, Daet, Camarines Norte for violation of Section 5, Article II of RA 9165 docketed under criminal case No. 17698.

Combined personnel of Ocampo Municipal Police Station (MPS), Tigaon MPS, RAIDTF and Daet MPS arrested the number 2 High Value Target Drug Personality of Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office on December 7, 2016 at about 2:45 PM at Barangay Hanawan, Ocampo, Camarines Sur.

Suspect was identified as Sammy Chua y Talanquines, 45, married, and resident of No. 7073 V. Basit (Salcedo) Street, Brgy VIII, Daet, Camarines Norte and/or Barangay Sagpon, Tigaon, Camarines Sur

He was apprehended by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Roberto A Escaro of Regional Trial Court Branch 38 of Daet, Camarines Norte dated April 30, 2008 for Violation of Section 5, Article II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002), docketed under criminal case No. 12054 with no bail recommended.

Further, during the mandatory search conducted at Ocampo MPS at about 3:00 P.M. of same date, three (3) medium size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu“ were found by the searcher at the lower left pocket of the short pants of the suspect.

Arrested person is now under the custody of Ocampo MPS for proper disposition.

Three drug personalities were arrested in the two buy-bust operations conducted on December 7, 2016 at Brgy Gubat and Brgy Gahonon, both of Daet, Camarines Norte.
At about 4:00 PM at Purok Bayabas, Barangay Gubat, Daet, Camarines Norte, Combined personnel of Daet Municipal Police Station (MPS), Basud MPS, Camarines Norte Provincial Intelligence Branch and Camarines Norte Provincial Public Safety Company in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-5 conducted buy bust operation against Sajarah Macaalin y Papares, alias “Sahara Nasakin” 29, married, and resident of Blk 34, Lot 8, Brgy. Datu Esmael, Dasmariñas Cavite; and Saidamin Masanggila y Cali, alias “Saidamin Masangila” 26, resident of Purok 8, Brgy. VIII, Daet, Camarines Norte that resulted to their arrest. Confiscated from their possession were the following items: eight (8) pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance, suspected Methamphetamine hydrochloride or “Shabu”; and three (3) pieces of Php 500.00 bill, two (2) pieces of Php 1,000.00 bill and twelve (12) pieces of buddle money used as marked money.

At about 5:00 PM of same date, combined personnel of Daet MPS, Camarines Norte Provincial Intelligence Branch and Camarines Norte Provincial Public Safety Company in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-5 conducted buy-bust operation against Christian Rivera y Magana, 36, married and resident of Purok 2, Barangay Gahonon, Daet, Camarines Norte. Said operation resulted to the arrest of the suspect and confiscation of the following items from his possession: four (4) pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance, suspected Methamphetamine hydrochloride or “Shabu”; and one (1) piece of Php 500.00, used as marked money.

Arrested suspects were brought to Daet MPS for proper disposition while criminal complaint for violation of Sec 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) are being prepared for filing in court.
