In light of the recent launch of Pokémon GO game in the Philippines, the PNP through ITMS and PRO5 advice the public to always place their personal safety first above “catch them all”.
The Pokémon GO craze has seen reports of accidents, injuries and even crimes in other countries where it has already been played.
The PNP-ITMS and PRO5 would like to advise Pokémon GO players to enjoy the game safely and take note of the following:
September is National Cyber Security Awareness Month ( Proclamation Order No. 2054, s. 2010 ) which is an annual campaign to raise awareness about cybersecurity. As the country continuously moves forward into a world that is more connected than ever before. The computer, smartphone, Internet and other enabled device has become a part of daily life. National Cyber Security Awareness Month is designed to engage and educate government and private sector partners through events and initiatives with the objective of raising the level of awareness about cybersecurity and the importance of resiliency of the country in the event of a cyber attack.
