PBGEN BART BUSTAMANTE, RD, PRO5 conducted inspection of the facilities of Albay Police Provincial Office along Pio Duran Road, Ligao, Albay on November 12, 2020. This is to assess the extent of damage caused by the recent typhoon in Albay.

Police Regional Office 9 headed by PBGEN JESUS D CAMBAY JR, Regional Director and the people of Zamboanga Peninsula generously provided PRO5 relief assistance for the affected families in the region due to the Super Typhoon “Rolly”.
PBGEN BART R BUSTAMANTE, Regional Director of PRO5 and the entire Kasurog Cops expressed their most profound gratitude to the personnel of PRO9, for the act of benevolence that shall help the people of Bicol as they renew their strength and again stand in faith after the destructive effects of the calamity.
Ang kapulisan ng Bicol katuwang ang Police Regional Office 7 ay muling namahagi ng relief goods sa Barangay Bagumbayan Sur, Naga City noong ika-10 ng Nobyembre na sya namang tinggap ni Hon. Recardito Veluz, Punong Barangay ng nasabing lugar.
Patuloy pa rin ang pagiral ang modern-day“bayanihan at barangayan” sa panahon ng sakuna sa pamamagitan ng pagpapaabot ng tulong at suporta sa Bicolandia mula sa mga karatig nitong rehiyon.
Muling nakatanggap ang Police Regional Office 5 sa pangunguna ni PBGEN BART R BUSTAMANTE, RD ng mga relief items at ibang pang mga essential goods mula sa Police Regional Office 2 sa pamumuno ni PBGEN CRIZALDO O NIEVES, RD at mamamayan mula sa Cagayan Valley.
Ang mga nasabing donasyon ay ipapamahagi sa iba’t-ibang munisipalidad ng rehiyon na higit naapektuhan sa pananalanta ng bagyong “Rolly”. Ito rin ay magsisilbing panimula at motibasyon sa mga biktima ng bagyo upang magpatuloy sa buhay at wag mawalan ng pag asa sapagkat mayroong mga taong nakahandang tumulong at umagapay sa kanila upang malagpasan ang dadok na ito.
Muli, taos puso ang pagpapasalamat ng Police Regional Office 5 at ng buong Bicolandia sa Police Regional Office 2 sa kanilang kabutihang loob at suporta.

A joint relief operation was conducted by Police Regional Office 5 and the members of the Philippine Chambers of Commerce and Industry at Brgy San Isidro Phase Gawad Kalinga Village, Libon Albay on November 10, 2020. The said activity benefited a total of 100 families highly affected by the Super Typhoon “Rolly” in the said barangay.
PBGEN ANTONINO R CIRUJALES and PCOL ULYSSES CRUZ, both members of the PNPA “Tanglaw Diwa” Class of 1992, with PRO5 personnel, spearheaded the distribution of relief packs to families affected by the Super Typhoon “Rolly” in Brgy Cararayan and Brgy Bariis in the municipality of Tiwi, Albay. PBGEN CIRUJALES was the former PD of Albay PPO while PCOL CRUZ is the present EX-O of DIPO-SL.
Police Regional Office 5 under the leadership of PBGEN BART R BUSTAMANTE, RD, continues its disaster response efforts to alleviate the present situation of the communities affected by the Super Typhoon “Rolly” in the region.
As part of the efforts the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 5 headed by its Force Commander, PCOL JULIUS DANAO GUADAMOR initiates the distribution of relief goods and other essential supplies at the barangays of Bato, Catanduanes dubbed as ”Kaliwanagan sa Catandungan: Share A Light, Win the Fight!" today, November 10, 2020.
The personnel RMFB 5 Maneuver Platoons raised funds to procure items including pansit bato, pack of dried fish (tuyo), instant noodles, clothes and Solar Rechargeable LED Camping Light that shall serve as the torch of light during the night time while the entire province of Catanduanes still experiencing power outage.
Such initiative is a manifestation of the firm commitment of the men in service to lend a hand and extend help to our fellow Bicolanos to start over after the destructive effects of the typhoon. This unit shall also ensure that nobody fights alone in this battle.
Police Regional Office 5 headed by PBGEN BART BUSTAMANTE, RD, together with Police Regional Office 7 under the leadership of PBGEN ALBERT IGNATIUS D FERRO, RD, handed over relief goods to the residents of Brgy. Gabon, Polangui Albay on November 6, 2020.
The chosen area is one of the flooded barangays in the province of Albay during the typhoon.
As part of the activity, the aforementioned team rendered entertainment programs to help ease the discomfort that the constituents are currently experiencing with the aftermath of the calamity.
During the activity a Psycho-Social Intervention program was conducted with the aim to provide entertainment and alleviate the suffering of the victims of the Super Typhoon “Rolly”.
